Security and service
The security organization has one main goal for its events: All visitors must feel safe and secure in the arena area when AFC Eskilstuna plays a match. Football should be fun to watch and the event should be open to all people regardless of background.
In order for this main goal to be achieved, it is necessary that the work rests on our foundations, which are the value base, communication, regulations and safety work.
Objective:
As one of the younger clubs in elite football, it is necessary to create a healthy culture from day one. The goal is to build an active and committed supporter culture that has an environment that is inclusive and positive. No one should feel unsafe or be exposed to threats, violence, harassment or discrimination at our matches. Both the home crowd and the away crowd should feel that when they come to us.
Dedicated staff:
We strongly believe in the local attachment and connection when it comes to staff. It is these people, apart from our visitors, who develop the good culture in the club. The carpenter, police student or pizza baker who wants to help out at the local club will always go the extra mile than the person hired for a task at the arena. The club also has an SLO who is responsible for communication between the club and the supporters. All staff have a basic education.
The main parts of the security organization consist of:
Audience hosts
The host's task is to offer the visitors service, safety and security at all times. The audience hosts have a service-oriented approach and have preparedness with an emphasis on fire, medical care and evacuation. In the event of an evacuation, the crowd hosts play absolutely the most important role and are tasked with leading and helping visitors out of the arena. The audience hosts are exposed in well-thought-out and strategic places, such as at emergency exits, escape gates and stairs. As a visitor, you can always ask the audience hosts for information about the arena or let them know if something has happened.
The audience hosts have neon-yellow vests with black print on the back "Public host".
Security guards
The task of the security guards is to be service-oriented, helpful and, in the event of disturbances, intervene and control. The security guards are appointed by the police authority and have limited police powers. Our security guards have several years of experience with Tunavallen and football matches in general. As a visitor, you can always ask the security guards about information, the arena or other things about the event.
The security guards wear blue uniforms (color code NCS 7015-R90B) and have neon-yellow vests with black print on the back "Security Guard".
Doctors and paramedics
At our events, there is always at least one licensed doctor and licensed health care provider. The medical team's task is to assist spectators, all players and officials if someone gets hurt. The medical team has an emergency kit and there are two defibrillators in the arena that are cared for and controlled by trained staff. At crowded matches, there are 2 medical teams on site.
The ambulance entrance is the red gate between sections K and A. Our healthcare team wear white vests with a red cross on the back and with black print "Doctor" and "Nurse" above.
Firemen
At our events, there are always at least 2 fire guards who are responsible for guarding the arena and whose main responsibility is to adapt to positions according to risk and threat. The fire marshals deal with burnt out Bengals, report, put out sand buckets and other equipment before the game.
Our firemen wear neon-yellow vests and have free movement in the arena unless otherwise decided.
Camera surveillance
Tunavallen has an approved permit for camera surveillance in the arena. The system consists of several cameras that are both mobile and fixed. The camera surveillance is managed by a trained camera operator who, through the surveillance, can report on the flow through the entrances, prevent disturbances, identify crimes, prevent accidents, etc.
Visitation
The visitation is a measure decided before the match to prevent dangerous items from entering the arena such as weapons, bottles, pyrotechnics or other prohibited items. The visitation requirement, which is based on a consent given by the spectator, is of decisive importance for the control of the specified prohibition conditions and constitutes a fundamental element in the agreement between AFC Eskilstuna and the visitor. If a visitor refuses to submit to visitation, AFC Eskilstuna can only deny him access to the arena.
The visitation is carried out by trained audience hosts and has been instructed to avoid privacy-protected areas.
Evacuation of the Tunavallen
The Tunavallen can be evacuated quickly and safely due to its escape routes, which are both large and numerous. There are a total of 8 large gates in the arena which are checked before matches and guarded by hosts. In the event of an evacuation, the entire organization follows an established evacuation plan. It is of the utmost importance that you as a visitor listen and follow the instructions that our officials give you. It is also important that you do not block stairs or escape routes during the event. Always follow the officials' instructions and leave the arena as quickly as possible if you are informed to do so.
Exercises and training for officials take place every year at Tunavallen. SvFF has requirements for how the arena should be equipped, and Tunavallen meets these criteria. The municipality, the police and the rescue service have approved the evacuation plan held by AFC Eskilstuna.
